The decision on a shockpad is dependent on the type of sports you require to play.
If the primary sports require ball bounce, such as tennis and basketball, then no shockpad would be preferable. If football
is to be the primary sport, a shockpad is recommended for protection when falling and to reduce ball bounce.
Our cricket shockpad helps protect the cricket wicket from damage on sub bases and allows for a more controlled pace and ball bounce, manufactured from polyester and available in 2.00m, 2.50m and 4.00m wide widths.
Supplied alongside our Playsafe systems, ProGame is a closed-cell, crosslinked Polyethylene foam le available in 20mm and 30mm thickness which are 1.2m x 1.60m.
The tiles are easily installed onto a stone or prepared base cut with a hand saw and seamed using Playrite’s specially designed tape.
This range is manufactured by using recycled fibres, we select end of batch fibres that would otherwise go to landfill and mix with selected denier fibres to manufacture our 10mm and 15mm shockpads. They offer maximum drainage characteristics as no secondary backing or latex is applied that could otherwise restrict the flow of rainfall.
